Examples
An Engelmann spruce end table. This is one solid piece of spruce sustainably sourced by hand from a wind blow down tree. Each check in the sides of the piece were sealed and filled with colored epoxy and the top coated with an epoxy flood coat. This piece also has leveling feet in the bottom so it can be leveled on uneven surfaces.
An Ambrosia maple toy box with Walnut feet. This box is 30”x 25” with a depth of 14”. Through dowels hold the box together and it features hold open hinges that keep the lid in place wherever the lid is stopped.
Fractured Aspen and epoxy wall hanging.
An Aspen trinket box with turquoise epoxy inlay. This box has a flat open lid with a side mounted lock catch.
Another Engelmann spruce end table from the same tree. The checks are filled with an ocean blue epoxy with a clear flood coat on the top.
A Walnut, Ambrosia Maple, and Cherry nightstand. All of the joints are dowels or mortise and tenon. Floating drawer with soft close under-mount slides.
Walnut wine rack for 6 bottles with glass storage shelf.
A live edge Aspen shelf and coat rack. This piece has a a walnut bowtie for an existing check. The rack hooks are aesthetically placed to flow with the live edge.
A book matched Walnut end table made from a single piece of 5” thick walnut.
Walnut and Ambrosia Maple toy box. With hold open hinges and branded initials. This is part of a set with the Walnut stripe changing locations for each member of the family.
